About Aura Beauty & Healing Studio

Aura Beauty & Healing is a tranquil home style inspired studio based in Hout Bay. Surrounded by rolling gardens and majestic trees, where one is able to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This beauty salon and sacred healing space offers a unique experience, unlike any other where two worlds meet.

The beauty treatments have a conscious element weaving in breathwork, essential oils, and intention setting. This allows one to drop into the body, become present, and experience a deeper sense of relaxation.

The holistic healing treatments integrate a variety of healing tools such as energy healing, Reiki, meditation, counselling, and crystal healing. The focus is on the 7 major Chakras and their effect on the mind-body connection. Facilitating deeper self-awareness and the body’s own ability to heal itself.

The environment is intentionally created for you to feel safe, heard, and beautiful both inside and out.

About Me

After travelling abroad I obtained a degree majoring in psychology, as my passion was to understand how the mind works and affects us all in everything we do and feel in our daily lives.

With experience in many different fields from human resources, to volunteer tourism, beauty and then into holistic healing. My journey continued as I found myself inspired to start my own business. I decided to merge my passion to help people and experience in beauty therapy to create a healing sanctuary with high quality treatments, customer service, attention to detail and a unique one-on-one experience to make you feel and look beautiful. Since I started Aura Beauty back in 2018, my own personal healing journey has inspired me to want to share it with others. I have continued to add to my skill set and have since studied Reiki Level 1, 2 and 3 and Masters. A 2 year part time Energy healing through The School of Intuition and Healing, counselling through The Healios Training Centre and Crystal Healing through Soul2Soul. This has led to creating Aura Beauty & Healing Studio as you see it today. I have learnt through my own personal journey the benefits of energy work, meditation, breathwork, herbs, essential oils and crystals which I now integrate and combine into all my treatments, creating a holistic and healing environment, as I feel that self care and healing go hand in hand.
